Ruler - needs inches and centimeters Colored pencils/crayons - YES we do have some fun assignments! 3-hole pencil case - stays in binder for storage Glue sticks and/or Scotch tape - to glue/tape papers/notes into our notebooks On-Line Bonus QuizzesThese quizzes are from the text book's website & students can only do the ones we write down as targets for our chapter notebooks.
1) Go to the website connected.mcgraw-hill 2) Click on the chapter and section we are currently working in. 3) Click the LESSON PLAYLIST tab. 4) Select Self-Check Quiz (usually towards the bottom) 5) Do as many as you can for practice before quizzes and tests! |
HomeworkHomework is either to finish work we started in class or some extra problems to solve. In order to get credit you MUST do the following:
1) Show ALL work, even the easy ones! 2) Explain your answers when asked. 3) You have 2 days to turn in homework, but after 2 days we have moved onto something new so NO assignments can be turned in for partial credit! Each assignment is graded so make sure to try your hardest and don't be afraid to ask for help. There are a TON of websites that also give advice and help for math! Accessing the Text Book On-LineThe website is connected.mcgraw-hill.com but it is easier to just google mcgraw-hill connect ed and select the site that way or just click the link on THIS site! Make sure to save it as a favorite so you can get to it quickly!
Type in your username and password then click on the book. You can either select the chapter and lesson or just type in the page number. You can check all the ODD problems in the back of the textbook, the answer pages start on R1. Just type in R1 and then find the page number that you were working on to check your answers! |
